4 month check-up....

We had Jake's 4 month check-up yesterday and he is a healthy 15 pounds and 4 ounces, and he is 27 inches long, the doctor said he is the average height of an 8 month old, so we have a tall baby! He had his shots and he did okay, he was very clingy and sleepy yesterday, but I liked it cause he never holds that still or cuddles so I was enjoying it while I could! He is back to normal today, jumping, giggling, and wiggling.

Yesterday my Dad's work had a work BBQ at a city pool, that was more like a water park for little kids, it was a very "cool" place it had toys for all ages, even Jacob....

He loved to lean over and look at the water sparkle, he eventually fell asleep in this postion. We had a good time but poor Jake was so tired by the end of the BBQ he fell asleep the second I put him in his carseat to go home.

mmmm....cereal

We gave Jake some cereal the other day to see if he was ready to start solids, he did good for a little bit but I couldn't spoon the cereal in quick enough for him so he just got mad but we were able to get the first part on video (again from a camera phone so the quality isn't very good) Here it is...

We also got him a jumperoo (like I said before) and he has so much fun in it!! So here is a video of him in his jumper. I just realized that all the videos we have posted our son only has on a diaper, I promise we dress him but it has been so hot here that he prefers to be naked. :)

Update!!!

Well it has been awhile since we have posted. Seems like since I went back to work there hasn't been much time for anything, so here is a quick update.

Jacob has been growing like crazy! He is almost 4 months and he is a very active little boy and has to be constantly entertained by someone or something. He loves to jump for those of you that have held him know that he is a wiggle worm and tries to jump up and down when you hold him upright so out of desperation we bought him a jumperoo, and he LOVES it. It is so far his favorite toy. He is now rolling over both ways from stomach to back and back to stomach. He is very proud of himself when he does either. He is starting to grab at anything he can and if he can't reach it (when he is on the floor) he tries to scoot toward it. It is very cute cause all of his limbs will move but he won't, he gets very frustrated. He has his 4 month check-up in another week or two and I am sure we will have more to brag about after that.

As for Brad and I we are still the same just working and enjoying being parents!!
